I need help finding some AG stuff.

Well not really. Kinda. I don't know. I want some of the Felicity dresses in my size, but they don't make them anymore, and I don't fit in the AG clothes anymore. Is it possible to sew them? I want the Birthday dress and Travel gown. Have any of you gals found material almost/excatly like the dolls' dresses??

Pleasant Company did make girl size clothes patterns also. They are extremely hard to find--and I tend to see them on ebay more often with the patterns than with the AG doll stuff. Maybe someone here who has one of them can tell you how they are "labeled" so you can do an ebay search for them.

I haven't found any exact matches for fabric, but have found some finished outfits on ebay where folks have come about 98% close, so the fabric (or a close facsimilie) is out there--it is just a matter of finding it!

Another option would be to buy a regular historical costume pattern for adults... I know that if you go to JoAnne Fabrics (or an equiv. like Michaels, etc.) you can find whole catalogues of historical costume. If you aren't an expert sewer yourself, you could always buy the fabric and hire a seamstress to crete the dress for you... people do this rather often for unique wedding/formal dresses.

I bet it would turn out quite pretty. Do post if you find/decide to create one!
